What's New This Week

ALL THE NEW URLS we receive each week are here. We list two (sometimes three) weeks' worth, cycling the old ones off each week. As they disappear from this page, you'll find the links moved to their natural home categories in our resource pages.

If you can't find something that was once here, try the AO search engine. It searches our entire site, and it can also search all of the sites that we link to.

News Centre
If we were using Microsoft Front Page to produce Anglicans Online, it might say here (entirely by accident) Lorem Ipsum Squibum. But we use Dreamweaver, so instead we can say that Sydney churches welcome visitors and Rome warns clergy not to get too familiar with the Devil. English churches may install ATM machines; American casinos retaliate by installing clocks. Divorce as a television game show. Donate money or I'll jump. More on a recent murder in Kenya. Thieving and grieving as a credo. Another odd proclamation from the Vatican. A new 'flying bishop' for the C of E. An English commision uses the word 'homophobia' a lot. Death of a great Methodist leader. Much ado in Canada over residential schools. An advertising section devoted to the church and the internet. And, best of all, Andrew Lloyd Webber proposes to burn down the Millennium Dome and charge admission to the event. We'd buy a ticket, but not if the event were on a Sunday, because we are always busy producing Anglicans Online on Sunday evenings. Oh yes: we always end this squib by saying 'all this, and more, in the News Centre.'
