Tiger Aspect Productions are making a new documentary series for prime time BBC-1 called 'The Real...'. They are creators of The Vicar of Dibley and a string of highly acclaimed production credits including Harry Enfield and Chums, In the Wild with Julia Roberts, Mr Bean, Streetmate and Lenny Henry in Pieces.

'The Real...' series is a celebration of larger-than-life television characters; monstrous caricatures with their roots in reality, and the first character we are featuring is Geraldine from 'The Vicar of Dibley'.

We shall also be looking at Victor Meldrew, Patsy and Edina from Absolutely Fabulous and Men Behaving Badly. We are looking for real versions of the comedy characters, people who can relate to or share similar character traits to the comedy icons.

Each programme will be made up of celebrity interviews, clips from the show and fly-on-the-wall footage of the characters' real-life counterparts.

We should like to do some filming with a female vicar who could empathise with Geraldine the Vicar of Dibley, a 'day in the life' of some real vicars, following them going about their daily business attending church meetings and providing support to members of the parish and the community.

If anyone can relate to The Vicar of Dibley and would like to do some filming with us or would like some more information, ring
