Exchange

Ireland: Cottage with duty, summer 2006
'I am Rector of a group of parishes in the south west of Ireland, based around the town of Skibbereen. During the months of June, July, August and September a cottage is available in the seaside village of Baltimore for clergy and their families to stay in. In return the parish asks the clergyperson to take two services on a Sunday, and pay a modest rent of 50 euros per week, to cover expenses. The rent usually in the area is upwards of 800 euros per week, so our scheme does enable clergy to enjoy the splendid surroundings for a fairly small outlay'. More information: The Reverend Bruce Hayes <abbeystrewry@eircom.net>

USA -> Scotland
'In USA a small parish in Brunswick, Maryland. One Eucharist on Sunday. Near Washington DC, Baltimore. Appalachian trail. Excellent public transportation; will exchange autos. Priest and wife, no pets, no kids, no smoking. Seeking exchange with small parish of chaplaincy in Scotland'. More information: franke.fortkamp@verizon.net
