Position Minister
Description Resurrection church is an evangelical Anglican church in a scenic and relaxed Sai Kung/Clearwater Bay area of Hong Kong. It is a friendly, welcoming church, with an informal and inspirational modern worship style, recently moved to new premises that seat 100+.
The Church encourages its members to develop and use their gifts to serve within the church and community.
We are seeking an experienced minister to lead the church into a new phase of growth. The ideal person will have church planting skills, and be a good teacher/preacher who can pastor and lead the church. The right person will be energetic, flexible and adaptable and with the ability to lead and develop a congregation which is multi-cultural and multi-racial, with a wide variety of church backgrounds. Position Chief Financial Officer
Description Bishop James Cowan of the Diocese of British Columbia seeks to appoint a new Chief Finance Officer. The Diocese of British Columbia has fifty-five parishes on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands, with the diocesan office located in Victoria. The annual diocesan budget is $1.8 million, and the consolidated trust fund is $11 million. The Chief Finance Officer reports to the Diocesan Executive Officer, works closely with the Bishop, Executive Officer, Finance Committee and Diocesan Council, and is responsible for banking, oversight of the investments and trust funds, insurance of church properties, preparation of financial statements and budget, and other financial matters. The Chief Finance Officer carries out policies relating to financial matters of the Diocese, and assists parishes in the development and management of their financial activities.

The Diocese is located in one of most beautiful parts of Canada, with views of snow clad mountains and whales in the ocean, and yet with the mildest temperature in the country, notable for its lack of snow! The Diocese is in a process or revitalization, having recently hired on a Congregational Development Facilitator, and having reorganized itself following a process of strategic assessment.
