Noted This Week

WHENEVER WE LEARN about a web site that we haven't previously listed, we note it here. Sometimes such sites are brand new and sometimes they have been around for a while without our having noticed. We list two weeks' worth, cycling the old ones off each week. As they disappear from this page, you'll find the links moved to their natural home categories in our resource pages. We do not mention on this page remakes of sites that are already in our listings.

If you can't find something that was once here, you can look in our archives or try the AO search engine. It searches our entire site. If you still can't find it, please let us know.

If you would like your website listed at Anglicans Online, please use this form to tell us about it.

Worth Noting
At the heart of the common life there lies humility: Geoffrey Rowell writes for the Times (London). 'Claims and counter-claims about territory; different histories and human stories; different ways of looking on the world; extroverts and introverts, thinking people and feeling people — all are challenged to find how the good and joyful dwelling together in unity can be realised.'

Holy Space in Uganda: Jason Byassee writes for Books and Culture (Chicago). 'If you have a story like that of the Uganda Martyrs, why not make some space, both literally and figuratively, for others to love the story and ask for the grace to imitate it? Zimbabwean Anglicans have done so in spades—setting aside an entire mountain with which to remember what God has done in Bernard Mizeki. Perhaps we in today's west, for not the last time, have something to learn here from African Christians.'
