Noted This Week

WHENEVER WE LEARN about a web site that we haven't previously listed, we note it here. Sometimes such sites are brand new and sometimes they have been around for a while without our having noticed. We list two weeks' worth, cycling the old ones off each week. As they disappear from this page, you'll find the links moved to their natural home categories in our resource pages. We do not mention on this page remakes of sites that are already in our listings.

If you can't find something that was once here, you can look in our archives or try the AO search engine. It searches our entire site. If you still can't find it, please let us know.

If you would like your website listed at Anglicans Online, please use this form to tell us about it.

Worth Noting
Haiti's murals: 'Some of the world-famous murals that adorned the walls of the Episcopal Diocese of Haiti's Holy Trinity cathedral prior to the Jan. 12 earthquake, and gave Haitians of all faiths a vision of their place in the stories of the Bible, could be preserved and possibly even restored.
' Episcopal Life Online has this news feature on fundraising and conservation efforts.

What is Theology?: This is the week's question at guardian.co.uk's Comment is free section.

Worship from the Pews: 'My point is really very simple. When we come to Mass on Sundays and take our place in the pews as faithfully worshiping and praying members of the congregation, we are performing the primary work of the Church. Valuable and worthwhile as the many liturgical ministries available to the laity undoubtedly are, nonetheless the opportunity to participate from the pews is the greatest honor and privilege of all.' Whose is Newman?: 'Cardinal Newman was the greatest English Catholic of the Victorian age. But whose side would he be on today?' The Guardian wants to know.
