Noted This Week

WHENEVER WE LEARN about a web site that we haven't previously listed, we note it here. Sometimes such sites are brand new and sometimes they have been around for a while without our having noticed. We list two weeks' worth, cycling the old ones off each week. As they disappear from this page, you'll find the links moved to their natural home categories in our resource pages. We do not mention on this page remakes of sites that are already in our listings.

If you can't find something that was once here, you can look in our archives or try the AO search engine. It searches our entire site. If you still can't find it, please let us know.

If you would like your website listed at Anglicans Online, please use this form to tell us about it.

Worth Noting
Episcorific! We've enjoyed this online publication for quite some time. Its current issue, called the Soapbox Issue, includes an exciting array of responses to an invitation to young US Episcopalians to describe 'what makes them passionate and gets them up in the mornings'.

An excellent mystery of coupling: Alan Wilson continues his series in the Guardian on the BCP.

So far and yet so near: Rupert Shortt writes for the Tablet on the Bishop of Rome and the Archbishop of Canterbury. 'One is the ruler of a global congregation recently put at nearly 1.2 billion, the other a nominal head of a worldwide communion of some 80 million. Next week, Joseph Ratzinger and Rowan Williams will meet during the papal visit to Britain. There is much to unite these seemingly disparate figures.'
