Noted This Week

WHENEVER WE LEARN about a web site that we haven't previously listed, we note it here. Sometimes such sites are brand new and sometimes they have been around for a while without our having noticed. We list two weeks' worth, cycling the old ones off each week. As they disappear from this page, you'll find the links moved to their natural home categories in our resource pages. We do not mention on this page remakes of sites that are already in our listings.

If you can't find something that was once here, you can look in our archives or try the AO search engine. It searches our entire site. If you still can't find it, please let us know.

If you would like your website listed at Anglicans Online, please use this form to tell us about it.

Worth Noting
Covenanters and Covenanting: Many are writing much about the proposed Anglican Covenant. We've spent some time with The Covenant: Antarctic Study Guide, The Guide to the Anglican Covenant for Dummies, To 'Covenant' or Not to 'Covenant' and Can the Instruments of Unity Be Repaired?. We still don't really know what any of it means.

Miserable offenders: Alan Wilson continues his series in The Guardian on the BCP. 'The gloomy prayers of the BCP are simply a communal stare over the precipice into an abyss, but from a place of grace.'

The Faith of Generation Y: The Church of England has published the results of a five-year study which found Generation Y has a faint cultural memory of Christianity but is not hostile towards religion. At the bottom of this article is a link to an audio podcast with lead author, Sylvia Collins-Mayo, discussing the study.
