Noting Kenneth Stevenson RIP: The former Bishop of Portsmouth, an important liturgical scholar and historian, died on 12 January 2011. A selections of his writings and sermons is available at www.kennethstevenson.org.uk. Tudor Griffiths at St Asaph Cathedral: 'Today is Anglican Communion Sunday, which as the opening line of a sermon designed to attract and hold your attention, may not score very highly.' This sermon by the rector of Hawarden Parish in the Church in Wales was preached on 9 January 2011. Christianity and Atheism: The Diocese of Melbourne has published 'an online resource' to be used as part of the ongoing dialog between Christians and atheists. They have made available a PDF file to generate a full-colour trifold brochure suitable for handing out on street corners. |
