WHENEVER WE LEARN about a web site that we haven't previously listed, we note it here. Sometimes sites are brand new and sometimes they have been around for a while without our having noticed. We list two weeks' worth, cycling the old ones off each week. As they disappear from this page, you'll find the links moved to their natural home categories in our resource pages. We do not mention on this page remakes of sites that are already in our listings.

If you can't find something that was once here, you can look in our archives or try the AO search engine. It searches our entire site. If you still can't find it, please let us know.

If you would like your website listed at Anglicans Online, please use this form to tell us about it.

Book of Common Prayer
Morning Prayers in the Awabakal Dialect (1835). 'This translation of portions of Morning Prayer from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer into the extinct Australian Aboriginal Awabakal language was published in 1835. The text was authorized by William Grant Broughton (1788-1853), the first and only Anglican Bishop of Australia. It was translated by English missionary linguist Lancelot Edward Threlkeld (1788-1859) with the assistance of tribal leader Biraban (died 1846).'

How the passing of the coronation chicken era spells the end for Church England: 'A largely unsung army of dedicated lay women born in the 1920s and 1930s and coming of age around the time of the Second World War, could prove to be the "last active generation" in the Church of England and its sister churches in countries such as the US and Canada, it finds.' John Bingham writes for The Telegraph (London).
