WHENEVER WE LEARN about a web site that we haven't previously listed, we note it here. Sometimes sites are new and sometimes they have been around for a while without our having noticed. We list two weeks' worth, cycling the old ones off each week. As they disappear from this page, you'll find the links moved to their natural home categories in our resource pages. We do not mention on this page remakes of sites that are already in our listings.

If you can't find something that was once here, you can look in our archives or try the AO search engine.

If you would like your website listed at Anglicans Online, please use this form to tell us about it.

Events
USA: Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, 2 December 2017: "To the Bottom of the Night:" Proclaiming the Word of God in Advent
'In this study day, come and walk through the lectionary texts for the four Sundays in Advent with two of our church's most prominent preachers and teachers, the Rev'd Fleming Rutledge and Dr. Joseph Mangina. Our study day leaders will expound the biblical texts, reflect on their theological import, explore the rich hymnody and liturgy of the season, and spend time in conversation with us as we prepare for the advent of our Lord. Whether you are a working preacher looking for new insights into old familiar texts, or a lay disciple of Jesus searching for the voice of the Lord amidst the noise of the holiday season, come and be blessed by spending a day together to read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest the biblical texts for Advent.' At St Martin in the Fields, Philadelphia.

'Today, it is time for the Episcopal Church to think as carefully and invest as intentionally in local formation as we long have for residential seminary training, as a vital seedbed for the leaders of tomorrow’s church. Should we endeavor to make local formation as much like residential seminary as possible? What can be gained by immersion in local ministry contexts that the traditional seminary model can't give? And what practical tools, best practices, and collaborative partnerships are available to strengthen local formation across our church?'
