Events
USA: Texas, Dallas, 20-22 September 2018: Ancient Order, Radical Vocation: The Anglican Priesthood as 21st Century Calling
'Those who have a burden for proclaiming Christ to a lost and broken world in need of healing and redemption. This conference was conceived as a place to have a conversation about what this looks like in the Anglican tradition, and to give missional, Gospel-burdened young adults a space in which to reflect on their vocation, i.e. calling. In short, this conference is an opportunity for you to consider whether God is calling you to a life of dynamic ministry in the great tradition of the ancient Church. You do not at all need to be an Anglican to come to this conference. All are strongly encouraged to attend. But be warned, you might want to become an Anglican by the time you leave.'
England: London, 9-10 October 2018: Compass Rose Society Annual General Meeting

Worth
Noting
Discoveries made by the Earl of Selborne when he walked to every cathedral in England: From The Independent (London).
The InHarmony Report: 'is the result of a survey of music for worship in Anglican churches across the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich. 444 parishes responded to the questionnaire (an exceptionally high 94% response rate), so we believe that this survey is the most comprehensive of its kind to be carried out in any Diocese in the country in recent years.'
Rural churches are open and here to stay: John Thomson writes in The Church Times (London). |
