old ones off each week. Before they disappear from this page, you'll
find the URLs in their natural homes at Anglicans Online.

News
Centre
It is one full year after the end of the Lambeth
conference, and, just like 15 August 1998, every Anglican newsmaker
in the world seems to be on holiday and offline. The only news we are
reporting this week is from a Roman Catholic source, but it's an important
story and you should read it. Three pieces from three points of view,
all from The Tablet,
on the topic of the ordination of women in the Church of England. We have
also this week, as a public service, made a copy of the Church Times
web site that is actually readable. If you are a Netscape user and you
want to look at the Church Times this week, look at our
copy and not theirs.
Parish
Administration
A growing number of parishes are interested in arranging for a columbarium
within or without the church. We add two links to two firms who have web
sites; one is in the States and one
in Australia.
