Hallo again to all.

As most of our readers know, we always update Anglicans Online late Sunday night (US Eastern Time). I believe our record, since assuming oversight of Anglicans Online in 1997, has been perfect. Till now.

This past week the server that hosts this web site (and many other web sites in the Anglican Internet world) has been beset by a series of problems. Some of you may have experienced an inability to connect to AO last week: one evidence of our behind-the-scenes difficulties. Because of these problems, the time we normally spend preparing the weekly update has been given over entirely to technical issues, in attempts to stabilise our system. If you care about technical details, we've written up a short page giving such information.

We're unhappy about not publishing a new edition tonight. Alas, our time, which is volunteer (in both publishing and supporting the technical underpinnings of AO) has been utterly consumed with the back-room work and has left us with nothing to give over to you here.

But whether you are a many-years reader or a first-time visitor, we can point you to the almost 6,000 links here in AO's nearly 300 pages, as places to explore in the meanwhile. (The menu at the left will take you everywhere on this site.)

And may we solicit your kind thoughts and prayers so that we can, in the next several days, stabilise our server and be back with you soon? That would cheer us more than we can say.

And with that assurance, we'll indeed see you next week.
