Hallo again to all. You might like to browse this week's new links to the music of the 1550 Book of Common Prayer Noted (Merbecke), which might be particularly appropriate whilst reading Cybernauts Awake!, a report on Christians and the Internet, commissioned by the Church of England. The US publisher HarperCollins has chosen what it terms the 100 best spiritual books of the century. See whether you agree with the choices or whether you find some curious omissions. Two new mailing lists, the Diocese of Georgia, the Anglican Youth Network in Japan, as well as several parishes make their appearance at Anglicans Online this week. One of the new parish sites, the Church of the Holy Cross in South Carolina, has included a useful glossary of things Anglican and Episcopalian. The News Centre is chock-a-block with news this week. Some opinions have crept in this week's edition; all but one of them are fairly subtle. There is no prize for spotting the un-subtle opinion, but you do have to go to the News Centre to find it. You might find hints listed under "News Centre" in our New This Week section. It's hard to believe, but Advent is almost upon us. Our Advent resources page lists the Internet resources that are specific to Advent. We welcome your suggestions and contributions, and we hope that you find it useful. Last week in this space we said that El Dìa de los Muertos was All Saints' day. That is not true; it is the following day, All Souls' day. Thanks to several alert readers who gently brought this to our attention. The Archbishop of Canterbury, George Leonard Carey, is celebrating a birthday on November 12. We at Anglicans Online wish him the happiest of birthdays. See you next week.
