What's New This Week

ALL THE NEW URLS we receive each week are here. We list two (sometimes three) weeks’ worth, cycling the old ones off each week. As they disappear from this page, you'll find the links moved to their natural home categories in our resource pages.

If you can't find something that was once here, you can look in our archives or try the AO search engine. It searches our entire site, and it can also search all of the sites to which we link.

Episcopal Elections or Announcements

Exchanges

England -> Ireland or 'nearly anywhere considered' (Mid-July to mid-September)
'I am Team Rector of a Team Ministry in rural Cambridgeshire with 13 parishes. My wife and I have five children (18, 16, 14, 12, 10) and live in a large six-bedroom rectory. We would be interested in exchanging (and have done so successfully four times before). Ireland would be first choice, but almost anything considered. Clearly we would need a fairly substantial house to fit us all in. We like sports and cycling, swimming, etc. Here there is easy access to Cambridge and many tourist delights, and lovely countryside. London is only an hour away by train. Timing would need to be mid-July to mid-September for a minimum of two
weeks. NO LOCUM DUTIES—we sort all that out at this end. Please contact jeremy.pemberton@ely.anglican.org'

Ireland -> Scotland / North of England (July / August 2003)
'Rector of a large suburban parish seven miles from Dublin city centre looking for an exchange in July or August 2003 in Scotland or Northern England for two to three weeks. Husband, wife, and three young people (12, 13, 14). Responsibilities would include one Sunday Eucharist or no duties at all if that can be negotiated at both ends. Great opportunities for exploring Dublin city and Kildare countryside. Modern four bedroomed house available. Please email sples@indigo.ie for details'.
