Western Australia: Mount Lawley, Perth College: An Anglican School for Girls. 'Perth College is the oldest Independent Girls' School in Western Australia. It was founded by the Anglican Sisters of the Church in 1902 and in 1915 moved to its current Mt Lawley Campus where the Sisters amalgamated their five schools.'

Church History
History of the Church of the Ascension, Chicago, Illinois 1857-1982, by George C. Giles, Jr. (1984). This prominent Anglo-Catholic parish's history includes a helpful introduction on 'The Oxford Movement and the Midwest.'

John Walmsley: Ninth Bishop of Sierra Leone, by E.G. Walmsley (1923). John Walmsley was Bishop of Sierra Leone from 1910 until his death in 1922. His diocese then consisted of Morocco, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone, the Gambia, and the Canary Islands.

Missionary Work among the Ojebway Indians, by E.F. Wilson (1886). E.F. Wilson (1844-1915) emigrated to Canada in 1865 and subsequently sought ordination in England in 1867. In this volume he gives a detailed account of his work among the Ojibwa First Nations (Chippewa) of Ontario under the auspices of the Church Missionary Society.

Sketches of Church Life in Colonial Connecticut: Being the Story of the Transplanting of the Church of England into Forty-Two Parishes of Connecticut, with the Assistance of the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel Written by Members of the Parishes in Celebration of the 200th Anniversary of the Society, Edited by Lucy Cushing Jarvis (1902). Just that.

Some Aspects of Episcopal Authority in the Church of England 1928-1981 with Special Reference to the Ecumenical Dialogue, by Margaret Parker. A thesis presented for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy King's College, University of London, 1992. 'The thesis is an historical survey of the main aspects of episcopal authority in the Church of England during the period 1928 to 1981. The various theories then current of the basis of episcopal authority are examined. Then the subject is explored in the light of the relationship of Church and State and the role of the State in ecclesiastical legislation and episcopal appointment. Reference is made to the growing attempts of the Church to gain more control over its doctrine and worship, and the appointment of its bishops.'

Odds and Ends
Project on Congregations of Intentional Practice. Supported by a grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. and sponsored by Virginia Theological Seminary, 'PCIP is a three-year study which began in 2003 exploring the relationship between communal Christian practices and congregational vitality in the historic Protestant mainline. The project has identified a nascent trend in American Protestantism: faith practices appear to be fostering an emerging sense of mainline vitality. The project seeks to explore this new trend by identifying interesting and instructive examples of churches that have experienced a renewed sense of identity and vocation through engaging Christian practices—and to tell the stories of these congregations.'

Church History
The American Episcopal Church Interpreted for English Churchmen, by Arthur Whipple Jenks (1919). Arthur Whipple Jenks (1863-1922) was professor of Ecclesiastical History at the General Theological Seminary in New York, and Warden of the Sisters of Saint John the Divine in Toronto, Canada. In this volume, he explains the history and structure of the Episcopal Church in the United States.

Mercy to Babes: A Plea for the Christian Baptism of Infants, by William Adams (1847). William Adams (1813-1897) was an Irish-born High Churchman who helped in the founding of Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Wisconsin after his graduation from New York's General Theological Seminary in 1841. In this treatise, he defends infant baptism on scriptural and moral grounds.

Thirty Years in Tropical Australia. By the Right Rev. Gilbert White, D.D. (1918). Gilbert White (1859-1932) was first Bishop of Carpentaria (1900-1915) and first Bishop of Willochra (1915-1925), both large Australian dioceses. (The former Diocese of Carpentaria is now part of the Diocese of North Queensland.) In this memoir, White records missionary journeys throughout remote parts of Australia proper and as far away as the Philippines.

Episcopal Network for Economic Justice. 'The Episcopal Network for Economic Justice was formed in 1996 to carry on the work begun by the Economic Justice Implementation Committee, established to carry out the vision of the 1988 General Convention. ENEJ serves to strengthen and support those engaged in economic justice ministries and advocate for initiatives within the Episcopal Church.'

Religious Orders
The Community of All Hallows: This women's community was founded in 1855 by Mother Lavinia Crosse. Today, the community's work is focussed on All Hallows Hospital, Ditchingham and Adele House Nursing Home, in addition to All Hallows Convent.

'Created in 1997 as a separate component of St Luke's Episcopal Health System (SLEHS), St Luke's Episcopal Health Charities (SLEHC) is a grant-making (non-operating) public charity with 501(c)(3) status. It provides the Houston community and communities within the 57-county Episcopal Diocese of Texas with a much-needed resource: a charity devoted exclusively to assessing and enhancing community health, not just for ill-care, but for lifelong health and well-being. To date, SLEHC has awarded over $57 million to selected, non-profit service programs throughout the Diocese. As a result of its first two years of work, SLEHC received the 1999 National Philanthropy Day Outstanding Foundation Award by the National Society of Fundraising Executives, Greater Houston Chapter.'

National Association of Episcopal Scouters. 'assists "Continuing" and "Orthodox" Anglicans in the religious aspects of the various Boy Scout, Girl Scout, Campfire and 4H programs.'
